Grow Your Home Library Week – October 12–18, 2025

October 12–18, 2025 is Grow Your Home Library Week — a national celebration of book ownership, literacy, and the pure joy of reading.
There’s something magical about a shelf that’s yours — filled with stories you’ve chosen, adventures you’ve lived through, and knowledge you’ve collected. Home libraries aren’t just for scholars or collectors; they’re for anyone who believes a book is more than paper. It’s a ticket, a teacher, a time machine, and sometimes… a much-needed laugh.
Here at EDUHaHa™, we believe books (and shirts) are how you carry ideas with you. This week, we’re celebrating by encouraging teachers, students, and families everywhere to add at least one new book to their home library. Whether it’s a classic novel, a science experiment guide, or a humorous teacher storybook, each title helps grow a lifelong love of learning.
How to Celebrate Grow Your Home Library Week:
- Start Small: Add one book to your shelf this week — new or secondhand.
- Swap Stories: Host a classroom or community book swap.
- Gift Books: Surprise a student, colleague, or family member with a book they’ll love.
- Wear It Proud: Share your love of reading with a shirt that says it all. (Yes, we’ve got you covered.)
Reading is contagious — so let’s spark the movement. From classrooms to living rooms, every book added makes a difference.
Because when you grow your library, you grow your world.
